My little adventure!

Where it all began?

I have always been a lover of food and this is why I began experimenting with various kinds of ingredients.

This little adventure began one evening when my brother and I talked about cooking (both of us are big foodies), and I was telling him, that I love making porridge in the mornings for my husband and I. And it was kind of funny because my other half is not a huge fan of porridge, he would rather have an omelette, but he still is very excited to try a bowl of porridge or to have one of my smoothies by me in the mornings!

So, I was telling my brother that I became a kind of Master of Porridge and that’s how this website was born!

You will notice that most of my recipes are plant-based, refined sugar and dairy free.
However, I don’t label myself as vegan or dairy-free. Instead, I just eat simple food that makes me feel good and my tummy happy. I hope you enjoy my recipes and join me on a journey to finding lovely food!

Healthy 3 min cocao porridge

Cocoa porridge

Ingridients

  • 40 g oats
  • 200 ml home made cashew cinnamon milk ( you can use any milk you like)
  • 1 half tsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  • Add all dry ingredients to the pot
  • Add milk
  • Cook over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
  • Stir in honey
  • Add porridge to the plate and top it up with natural yogurt and raspberries
  • Enjoy!

It’s delicious and feels like a real treat!

If you don’t have any toppings, don’t worry – this one is as good on it own.

Cinnamon cashew milk

Cashew milk

Homemade nut milk is not only delicious and quite easy to make, but it’s also cheaper than most good-quality shop-bought nut milks.
You can plan around with different flavour options and adjust the sweetness to your taste!

Ingredients

  • 100 g cashews
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 750 ml water

Method

  • Soak the nuts in water for at least 4 hours
  • Rinse thoroughly and drain
  • Put all the ingredients in the high-speed blender and blend for 2 minutes
  • Pour the nut milk through the strainer
  • Pour into a airtight glass jar, cover with a lid and store in the fridge for 2-3 days

Raspberry and sunflowerseed oatmeal

Oatmeal

This raspberry porridge is so quick and easy.  Adding this oatmeal is an easy way to get some nutritious food in your belly that will set you up for a productive morning. It’s warming and comforting – perfect for cold winter mornings.

Ingredients

  • 50 g oats
  • 200 ml milk
  • 40 g raspberries ( You can use frozen or fresh )
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • 20 g sunflower seeds

MethodM

  • Add the oats to a small saucepan along with the milk, pinch of salt, sunflower seeds and cinnamon
  • Cook on a low heat stirring occasionally
  • Cook 2-3 minutes
  • Once the porridge starts to thicken, fold in half the raspberries
  • Top it with rest of the raspberries and enjoy!

Dates and Goji berries porridge

Ingredients

  • 50 g oats
  • 30 g dates
  • 30 g goji  berries
  • 200 ml almond milk
  • 1 tsp of honey

Method

  • Add all ingredients to the pot
  • Cook over a low-medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly
  • Add porridge to plate and serve
  • Enjoy!

This one is my favorite so far!
You can enjoy it as a dessert or as a breakfast.

Pancakes

This is the easiest pancake recipe ever! 
Add everything together and in 15 min you can enjoy a lovely breakfast with your family! Add your favorite jam and just jazz it up your day! 

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 220 ml Milk
  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vannilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon 

Method:

  • Add all your ingredients to the bowl
  • Blend it with a food blender until mixture is smooth
  • Heat the pan over a moderate heat
  • Ladle some batter into the heated pan, tilting the pan to move the mixture around for an even layer
  • Cook until your pancake is golden from both sides
  • Serve it with a fresh fruit or favorite jam

Nutty vegan crumble

I am so pleased to share this recipe with you!
This nutty crumble is like an open book – you can add your favorite flavors and still enjoy this healthy recipe with no guilt at all.

No eggs, gluten or lactose! 

Ingredients

  • 200 g unsweetened peanut butter
  • 150 g gluten-free self-raising flour
  • 100 g coconut sugar
  • 50 ml almond milk
  • 3 tbsp of cherry jam (You can use any jam you like)

Method

  • Preheat your oven 180 celsius
  • Line your baking tray with baking paper
  • In large bowl mix peanut butter, milk and sugar. Add flour and mix until dough is not sticking on your hands
  • Split your dough into two parts
  • Take one part of the dough and add to your baking tray. Use your fingers to press your dough evenly
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Take it out from the oven and spread jam evenly
  • Take part two of the dough and crumble on top
  • Bake for another 10 minutes
  • Rest it for a couple of minutes and serve

Strawberry smoothie

I love simple recipes:  get all products ready and within seconds you will have a delicious smoothie!

Making this smoothie it makes me think about summer, it’s so light and fresh.

Ingredients 

  • 50 g frozen or fresh strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 200 ml almond milk
  • Flax seeds

Method 

  • Add all ingredients to blender
  • Blitz until smooth
  • Sprinkle flax seeds
  • Enjoy!

Healthy smoothie for any time!

Banana and frozen fruit smoothie

All that you need is a ripe banana, frozen berries, and some milk!

Ingredients 

  • 200ml soya milk
  • 2 bananas
  • 70 mix berries

Method 

  • Add all ingredients to high-speed blender.
  • Blitz until smooth
  • Pour to your favorite glass and enjoy

 

 

It takes seconds to make it so there is no excuse to have no breakfast or a healthy snack at any time!
